Using display

The mechanics of Wikisource will sometimes require that a link have disambiguation information which is not part of the original title. The display parameter allows this information to be hidden for the purpose of the citation. For example:

displays as:

public domain Lua error in Module:Citation/CS1/Configuration at line 2088: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value).

Using short removes the location, publisher and editor.

{{cite Collier's|wstitle=Jackson, Andrew|short=x}}

Using noicon

{{cite Collier's|wstitle=Jackson, Andrew|noicon=x}}

displays as:

Lua error in Module:Citation/CS1/Configuration at line 2088: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value).

Using vb

If text is incorporated verbatim into an article, the vb parameter can be used to tack on a notice appropriate to the policy in OODA WIKI:Plagiarism.

{{cite Collier's|wstitle=Townsend, Charles Henry Tyler|vb=x}}

displays as:
