This template may meet OODA WIKI's criteria for speedy deletion because in its current form it serves only to promote or publicise an entity, person, product, or idea, and would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic. However, the mere fact that a company, organization, or product is a page's subject does not, on its own, qualify that page for deletion under this criterion. This criterion also does not apply where substantial encyclopedic content would remain after removing the promotional material as deletion is not cleanup; in this case please remove the promotional material yourself, or add the {{advert}} tag to alert others to do so. See CSD G11.
If this template does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you created this page and you disagree with the given reason for deletion, you can click the button below and leave a message explaining why you believe it should not be deleted. You can also visit the talk page to check if you have received a response to your message. Note that this template may be deleted at any time if it unquestionably meets the speedy deletion criteria, or if an explanation posted to the talk page is found to be insufficient.

Speedy deletion templates |
---|
File:Police man Twinkle Head.svg | If you plan to make breaking changes to this template, move it, or nominate it for deletion, please notify Twinkle's users and maintainers at OODA WIKI talk:Twinkle as a courtesy, as the standard installation of Twinkle adds and removes this template. Thank you! |
This template is used to tag pages for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria, specifically CSD G11. There is a separate template for each criterion – see the table to the right.
This template places the page into the categories: Candidates for speedy deletion, and Candidates for speedy deletion as spam.
Usage
The template should be placed at the top of the page to be deleted.
Parameters
{{db-g11}}
- This is the most basic form of the template.
{{db-g11|bot=ExampleBot}}
- Bot accounts will specify the
|bot=
parameter to notify the reviewing admin that the page was tagged by an automated process.
{{db-g11|reason=Additional note by the reporter/nominator. ~~~~}}
- Free-form notes. Keep it short. Signature is optional.
{{db-g11|OODA WIKI:Articles for deletion/Page title here}}
- Link to previous AfD or other relevant discussion (parameter can also be given as
|1=
or|xfd=
or|page=
). This can be used for whatever is the pagename of the most recent XfD or similar discussion (including if the page was then under a different name, or in a non-obvious location, such as a 2nd nomination, a merge discussion at some other article's talk page, etc.). This parameter has no default value and does nothing clever. (For speedy deletion on the grounds of recreation of previously deleted material, see Template:Db-g4 which has more features for detecting previous XfDs.)
Author notification
If you nominate a page for deletion under this criterion, please consider placing the following code:
Lua error in Module:Shortcut at line 45: attempt to index local 'titleObj' (a nil value).
This template uses Lua: |
This template, often abbreviated as {{}}, is used to provide stylized formatting to template displays without actually using the template itself. The code generated will be displayed inline. For a multi-line output, see {{tj}}.
Parameters
With the exception of alttext, the named parameters are toggles that are either omitted (default in most cases) or activated (by being assigned a value such as "on", "yes", "true", "include", etc.). They may be included in any order (see Examples below). Certain templates have the parameter "on" by default; see the main table for all alternate options.
